Park Facilities Our park and grounds are maintained to a high standard with colorful planted borders and raised beds adding to the natural beauty of the countryside around us. This effort was recognised in 2009 when Overbrook was awarded the Yorkshire in Bloom Gold Rose Award. The 50 well-drained, hardstanding pitches all have countryside views. You can choose a regular size with space for an awning or a non-awning pitch. All have 16A electric hook-up and you are never more than 30yds from the nearest water point. Our toilet block is heated and spotlessly clean. Showers are free with plenty of hot water. Additional features are razor points for the men and a privacy cublicle for the ladies. |

We have a dish-washing area and a laundry room equipped with two coin operated washers and dryers as well as ironing facilities. You can borrow books from our lending library near reception, pick up tourist information or exchange gas cylinders. For other supplies, it is a short stroll into the village or four miles to the shopping centre in Pickering. Dogs on leads are welcome; there are areas close to the park where they can exercise. We are now open 11 months of the year so you can experience the North York Moors and the wildlife as they change through the seasons. During the year we see over 40 species of birds at Overbrook, including the wonderful sight of Kingfishers darting along the beck. |

Overbrook Caravan Park is your gateway to the North York Moors. Dalby Forest trail is just three miles North of the site and a little further is the lovely Newton Dale. Watch steam trains climb through colourful heathers and forest on their way to Goathland; better known as 'Aidensfield’ in ITV's 'Heartbeat'. Here you will see livestock roaming freely over remote, rugged moorland and you can follow crystal clear becks as they make their rocky descent into serene Eskdale. Pickering and Helmsley are market towns for the hamlets that nestle in the dales. Pickering is the main shopping centre, a few miles from the park. Attractions include it’s 12th century castle and the North York Moors Railway which travels 18 miles across the moors to the pretty fishing harbour at Whitby, overlooked by it‘s iconic cliff-top abbey. |
