Cheddar Bridge is a pretty riverside touring park with views across the Mendip Hills. This peaceful adult-only caravan and camping site is just a few moments walk from Cheddar village and spectacular Cheddar Gorge. Pitches are well-laid out, spacious and level. Guest reviews compliment owners, David and Tracy, for the immaculate facilities at Cheddar Bridge.
Riverside camping and caravan park Park Facilities
The River Yeo flows through Cheddar Bridge Touring Park which has been developed on the site of a Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Norman monument to the South West of the Mendip Hills. Our nicely laid-out park comprises 50 spacious, flat pitches with a choice of grass or hard-standings. We do not charge extra for awnings. All touring pitches have 16A electric hook–up.

The modern, heated facilities building contains luxury showers, WC, individual private wash-rooms, a bathroom and disabled facilities. All are kept beautifully clean and showers are free. Washing-up and laundry sinks are located in the facilities building with washer/dryer and fridge-freezer available for guest’s use.
Modern heated shower and facilities building Cheddar Bridge Touring Park is dog friendly with excercise paths adjacent to the site. There is a small shop at reception for you to buy gas and local produce, including strawberries, when in season. Groceries and other supplies can be purchased in the village which has a selection of shops, a Post Office and a supermarket.

For eating out or an evening drink, Cheddar village caters for all tastes and budgets with a selection of country pubs and restaurants. Many serve local Somerset produce.

Cheddar Bridge is so convenient. Leave the car, stroll to the village and avoid the congestion and parking charges visiting the attractions. We look forward to welcoming you here soon.
Cheddar Caves and Gorge are a short walk from the park Whats on nearby
Tourist Information and the entrance to Cheddar Gorge are a short walk from the park. Clifftop walks and nature trails are a must for those with the energy; who be be rewarded with the stunning views from the look-out tower across to Cheddar Reservoir and the Somerset Levels. Touring the attractions on an open-top bus is a much more relaxed option. Along the gorge are the undergound caverns of Coxs’ Caves and Gough’s Caves, with their wonderfully coloured stalactites and stalagmites. There’s also the Museum of Prehistory and the Cheddar Cheese Factory to visit.

A pleasant drive West along the Mendip Hills takes you into the Ebbor Gorge and on to Wookey Hole caves.
City of Wells, Somerset Nestling under the hills lies Wells, the smallest city in England, with a magnificent Gothic cathedral, thriving markets and period buildings.

Although Cheddar Bridge is a peaceful location, it is also conveneient for the main routes and day-trips to all of Somerset’s attractions. The coast at Weston-super-Mare is a short drive from the park where you will find miles of golden sands, amusement piers and some good coast walking.

There’s lots of things to do without travelling from the park: walking, cycle trails, fishing, golf, bird-watching and a 25m public swimming pool are all nearby.

Cheddar Bridge Touring Park is situated on the A371 Cheddar to Wells road. right next to Cheddar Football Club which is to your right as you leave the village towards Wells.

From the South West (M5)
Leave the M5 at J22 (Burnham on Sea).
Take the A38 towards Cheddar and Bristol for approx 5 miles.
Turn right onto A371 at Cross and follow the signs for Cheddar.
